So yesterday I was having a conversation with a potential client.

And I say potential because he was trying to be cheap and convince me to lower my fees.

And I realized something:

That having a pipeline full of clients/projects/leads instantly puts you in a position of power.

In fact, I didn’t need this guy approval.

The freedom of not needing to get new clients is amazing.

So I didn’t close the deal.

Do I feel bad about it? Absolutely not! And here’s why…

The Ideal Client Funnel Revealed

Imagine this situation:

You wake up today and you have to make only one phone call to a potential new client.

That phone call will determine whether you and your family can buy food this month or not.

If you gain this client, then you can feed your family.

If you don’t and you get turned down, well, you get the point…

How much pressure would that bring into your phone call?

How much power would that potential lead have upon you?

How desperate will you sound?

You will lower your fees in a zynch, without a doubt, wouldn’t you?

In fact you will probably end up doing 10x more tasks for the same amount of money.

It happened to me in the past, several times…

I know this is probably an extreme case, but just think how many people are in this situation right now.

With empty pipelines, no new leads, no new contacts, just a handful of clients you need to please, otherwise…

If you really want to choose who to work with.

Those people you can actually help, and not every business that come accross your way.

If you want to have an overall happier life and don’t depend on the whims of a client.

Full of new leads.

This applies whether if you are doing Local SEO or Affiliate marketing, PPC or consulting.

Now imagine this:
